The new episode of Batman The Telltale Series came out, and I totally played it twice already. The Batman The Telltale Series episodes are not long, so I find they are great for even a casual gamer. Not everyone is a hardcore gamer and I find that this gives enough to both, to keep them coming back to Telltale Games for more.
This episode started off in a cloud of mystery from the ending of episode 1, Realm of Shadows. So many unanswered questions, that pretty much all are answered by the end of the second episode. Which keeps me hooked, because now we are wondering the outcome to the latest chaos caused by the children of Arkham.
The fun part of this episode is it starts adding in a love interest, if you want her. She makes it no secret that she digs Bruce/Batman, I decided to shrug off her advances. I have my eye on another lady, that I hope they will include into this love triangle, so I am keeping the other lady at arms length. If it turns out she is never interested, I can always replay the game in another way.
Telltale Games, for me, have a HIGH replay value. I have already played both episodes twice and when it is all over I will end up playing them again. I love to see all the different outcomes based on different decisions. Plus, YOU get to decide what kind of person Bruce is and what kind of vigilante Batman is. It gives you a lot of power, and I love that.
I think hands down, my favorite part, was seeing Bruce Wayne in street clothes! I have never seen him in street clothes before, and I found it amazing to see. I do not want to give much away, because I want y’all to play it, but it was fantastic. It is an all around great episode that I was sad to see be over. In a few weeks we will all get to see the third episode. Can’t wait.
