Enjoying Dungeons & Dragons Wednesday
I am a novice at D&D (Dungeons & Dragons) having only played for 2 years. However, I have come to truly enjoy it. It also brings out my writing and it is something I love doing. So far I have written several backstories to my characters.
- Leotie Valhana (Half-Elf Cleric)
- Poppy the Pirate (Halfling Swashbuckler)
- Svala Gyldenlove (Human Ranger)
The backstories I tend to update even with the campaign. It is a lot of fun and I love doing it. The writing brings joy to my heart and the game with friends is always amazing.
I had never wanted to play. The first time I played I was hesitant. I did not think it was my type of game. Having to act in front of people is weird for me. I still play even with the anxiety of public speaking. Totally worth it.
I have bought many sets of dice and D&D Figures to play with. I bought the Dungeons & Dragons Player Handbook 5E, Dungeons & Dragons Dungeon Master’s Guide, and the Dungeons & Dragons Monster Manual. It’s possible I am truly became invested in the game.
Playing even brought me to want to run my own games as Dungeon Master. I received the Dungeons & Dragons Starter set and plan to run a game with my oldest daughter who shows interest. Even have a Dungeon Master’s Screen. I am pretty intent on giving it a go.
Either way, I enjoy playing and maybe someday I will enjoy running a game of my own.

Public speaking is the number one fear according to survey but glad you have overcome it and enjoy the play, that’s the coolest part.

I have not played Dungeons and Dragons for years…….it was almost a pre-cursory for video games!!

When ever I think of D&D now I think of Stranger Things and Riverdale!! We love these old school games and they are so much better than too much screen time!

what a fun activity to do with everyone! I’ve never played but Stranger Things has piqued my interest about playing someday.
